ABOUT ANTARIK PARASHAR
I’m currently pursuing my Ph.D. in Chemistry, where I’m building a strong foundation in computational inorganic and organometallic chemistry using density functional theory (DFT). I’m focusing on learning advanced techniques such as Natural Bond Orbital (NBO) analysis, Quantum Theory of Atoms in Molecules (QTAIM), Electron Localization Function (ELF), Adaptive Natural Density Partitioning (AdNDP), and Electron Density of Delocalized Bonds (EDDB) to study bonding and delocalization.I’ve recently started exploring Energy Decomposition Analysis (EDA-NOCV) to better understand orbital interactions and energy contributions in chemical bonding. Alongside my computational training, I’m also eager to gain hands-on experience in experimental inorganic and organometallic chemistry, particularly synthesis and characterization techniques, to connect theory with practice.I’m equally passionate about teaching and sharing chemistry, and hope to grow into a role that allows me to contribute to both research and education.
