About Antara Paul

I have pursued Masters in Biotechnology from KIIT University, Bhubaneswar. It was during the course of these five years that I developed interest in being associated with the biotech research industry in a significant capacity. The research domain in biotechnology is multifaceted and I have had experiences in both wet-lab and dry-lab through internships. I started out as a business development executive for the NGS service provider, Clevergene, Bangalore. However, soon I realised that rather than selling the service to the client, it was the technicalities of the service itself that intrigued me more.I followed through my interest and I am currently undergoing training on NGS data analysis at National Institute of Biomedical Genomics(NIBMG). I am constantly looking for new skills to add to my list that will serve me to move ahead both professionally and personally. I have enrolled for several certified courses on Python, C++ and Data Science. Besides this, I am tutoring at Chegg.com as a Network Managing Expert (Genomics). Currently, I am actively looking for opportunities preferably in the Biotechnology research and development sector and would love to interact with new people and hear about new perspectives and emerging opportunities.
