Hi, I’m Ansley DeCenzo. I recently graduated from Valdosta State University with a bachelor’s degree in Communication, focusing on Public Relations, and a minor in Sports Journalism. I’m now a first-year graduate student in the MAIC program, further developing my skills and expertise in communication. As a former student-athlete and aspiring sideline reporter, I’m passionate about storytelling, engaging audiences, and working in sports media. I assist with planning and executing all aspects of game-day operations for athletic events, including coordinating setup, breakdown, and logistics to ensure everything runs smoothly. I supervise and train student workers and event staff, communicate with coaches, officials, and visiting teams, and manage crowd control, ticketing, and facility access. Additionally, I support promotional activities and in-game entertainment and provide post-game interviews with coaches and athletes through FloSports.
