ABOUT ANSLEY POUNDS
I am a senior pursuing my Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science with minors in Biology and Chemistry and exploring opportunities in scientific research and the healthcare industry. I am currently involved in clinical research at Wake Forest University, aiding in the process of recruiting participants and volunteering with the intervention itself. This past summer, I continued my work with research at Wake Forest, working on The Knee Osteoarthritis Prevention Study. I helped in the beginning stages of recruiting and preparing for the study as well as analyzed data in previous studies. In previous summers, I have worked in the service industry as a stylist and sales associate as well as a hostess which helped me develop organizational and interpersonal skills. Currently, I am pursuing a career in research as it is something I have been working on for over a year now and feel passionately about. I am also interested in working in a clinical position in healthcare as I am dedicated to patient care and health sciences.
