ABOUT ANSHUMAN BHAT
Over a career spanning 12+ years, I have garnered a rich experience in the automobile industry and honed my leadership skills. I began my journey with the largest automotive manufacturer in India, Tata Motors, where I learnt the ropes of managing the operations of its dealers and efficiently handling customer complaints. I got primed in the art of negotiations and people management as I navigated its traditional set up and handled close interactions with customers and dealer manpower. At Toyota, I learnt to focus on developing my problem-solving skills by embracing the famed ‘Toyota Business Practices’, a universal problem-solving algorithm. Working in Toyota really helped me amalgamate my grass-root level Tata experience with the Toyota Way and come up with innovative long-term solutions. These learning came in handy while creating a holistic business plan, which helped a flagging dealer increase its after-sales revenue from 100 CR to 164 CR in 2.5 years, driving a business transformation. In 2018, I was the architect of the regional Customer Experience strategy(Delight Contest) that helped increase the Net Promoter Score from 61.2 to 71 in just 6 months. In 2019, I also led a cross-functional team to create a frame-work for low-cost source of sales leads through dealer employee referrals with exceptionally high conversion rates that saved close to 6 Million INR in marketing costs in just one quarter and added 500+ sales numbers. This project has got further tailwinds and is in the process of getting extended across the countryI have brought in a lot of data driven techniques to enhance the Return on Investment/Effort in service marketing. I enjoy making databases talk to each other and finding new patterns in customer behavior. I see myself as an the agent of change at Auto Dealerships and I handle people as if I am their Olympic coach; never happy, continuously raising the bar. My motto is people first. I strive hard to develop the capacity of people around me to make them self sufficient and set them on a course of high-achievement. I firmly believe in the adage:\" Culture eats strategy at breakfast\".
