About Anshumaan Bajpai

I am a process engineer at Intel Corporation, focusing on improving the yields using state-of-the-art data analytics techniques. Before joining Intel Corp, I completed my PhD at University of Notre Dame.In my research, I focused on developing mathematical tools and implementing machine learning techniques like Neural Networks, Decision Trees, and Cluster Expansion models to parameterize Density Functional Theory (DFT) calculations. The parameterized models are used to perform kinetic study of NO oxidation on automotive Pt catalyst using Monte Carlo Simulations. The aim of the work was to come up with models to help us understand the catalytic properties of Pt as an automotive catalytic converter. Apart from my work profile, I am passionate about Data Analysis and visualization and enjoy reading books on statistical modeling, machine learning, data mining and web scrapping. Specialties: Machine Learning, Data Science, Web scraping, Monte Carlo Simulations, Quantum Mechanics, Density Functional Theory, Statistical Mechanics, Computational Catalysis, Programming in Python, Java, R and C Shell.
