Building Robot assisted fiber alignment station for next generation free-space optical communication.• Developed ROS-based backend and Qt frontend applications in C++ and Python using multithreading and smart pointers for a robotic fiber alignment system. • Implemented IK and path planning solutions using MoveIt and iDynTree, enabling precise motion control in complex robotic setup. • Integrated a variety of hardware components including motion stages, optical sensors, and actuators into the setup/ • Developed automation solutions (GUI and Data processing) for product testing, calibration & tuning. • Contributed in CI/CD pipeline, maintained and debugged production systems, applying root cause analysis and quick resolution strategies to minimize downtime.
