Most recently leading the capacity effort (team of 4 people) in the team wherein we own load testing, capacity estimation, autoscaling, feature level capacity cost tracking, special event (e.g. nye) planning, profiling tooling etc. Delivered several critical improvements to all these areas over a span of 3 years, making capacity much more formulaic to reason about, and cheaper to manager across the orgPreviously worked on Chat Infrastructure team, where I led the presence (online/last-seen), chatstates (typing indicators), and briefly device sync features. Delivered multi-device support, cross-app communication and several other optimizations in those features.
