ABOUT ANSHEED RAHEEM
Being an enthusiast, a proponent, and a benefactor of science, curiosity was the fuel that propelled Ansheed to make research life’s goal. To start with the finite journey of adventure, he chose writing as a nifty grip, which he had nurtured right from his school days. He has a humble 8+ years of wordsmithing experience and over four million words proficiency in technical, business, academic, legal, and science genres. Keeping writing as a side hustle, he graduated in biotechnology and earned a post-graduate degree in Nanomedicine, which took him closer to the world of research. His initial interest was in neuron biology and gene editing, but with the advent of nanobiotechnology, he detoured his focus into the cell- nanomaterial interaction.Previously, he had a chance to work hands-on with recombinant pDNA technology to study the interaction of various biomolecules with the nanoparticle, which helped his team devise a conceptual biomolecule delivery strategy. This opened a new door for him to contemplate more about the epigenetics of cell-material interaction.Ansheed focuses on unraveling the nuances of cell-material interaction from an epigenetic perspective to devise a novel coating strategy to defenestrate the limitations/challenges that otherwise prevent a flawless cell-material interaction. He plans to develop a road map for engineering biomaterials with superior biocompatibility in his prospective career.
