I’m the co-Founder and co-Executive Director of Voices of Punjab, a community‑led mental health support initiative for adults in the UK, with a particular focus on the Punjabi community. My work centres on building safe, culturally sensitive spaces where people can talk openly about their emotional wellbeing and feel heard without judgement.Through Voices of Punjab, I lead the development of a confidential, non‑directional web chat support service grounded in strong safeguarding, clear boundaries, and ethical practice. We provide emotional support, not advice, diagnosis, or clinical treatment, with the aim of reducing stigma and improving access to support.I’m passionate about community‑informed mental health work, inclusive leadership, and creating services that respect culture, autonomy, and lived experience.

ABOUT ANOOP SIRA
I am an 18-year-old Aspiring Dentist. As Head of School, I developed strong leadership, communication, and empathy skills, qualities I now aim to bring into a clinical setting. My commitment to patient-centred care stems from diverse work experiences across a dental practice, general practice, and chiropractic clinic, where I observed the importance of manual precision, professionalism, and trust in healthcare relationships.Alongside my studies, I led community initiatives including organising and hosting the Concert for Ukraine, which raised over £1,700 for the British Red Cross, demonstrating initiative and teamwork under pressure. I founded and chaired the Mandela Society, promoting inclusion and leading annual charity events. My Music and Academic Scholarships reflect both creativity and discipline, traits I see mirrored in the artistry and technical precision of dentistry.Beyond academia, I’ve taught Music in primary schools for four years and achieved advanced qualifications in Public Speaking (LAMDA), Acting, Piano, Guitar, and Vocals (working towards Grade 8).
