ABOUT ANOOP AGRAWAL

Dr Anoop Agrawal relocated from the United States to India in the year 2017. After completing MBBS from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Dr Agrawal moved to the United States for clinical training in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Coronary and Adult Structural Heart Interventions. Dr Agrawal is American board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular diseases, and Interventional Cardiology (Triple Certification). He is trained in Echocardiography, Cardiac Nuclear Medicine, and Vascular Interpretation and has been certified by respective boards namely The National Board of Echocardiography, Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology, and American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Dr Agrawal underwent dedicated training in Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR). He has performed more than 350 implants using both self-expandable (Evolut R/Pro, Hydra) and balloon-expandable platforms (Sapien, Myval). Dr Agrawal started TAVR program across 8 branches of CARE Hospitals and is the highest volume TAVR operator in this region. Dr Agrawal is proficient in coronary angioplasty, atherectomy, invasive hemodynamics, IVUS, OCT etc. His other fields of work include Transcatheter Mitral Valve Implantation, Mitra-Clip®, device closure of adult structural heart diseases, percutaneous vascular closure etc. Dr Agrawal is well published both in peer-reviewed journals as well as mass media. His authored chapter on Aortic Stenosis and TAVR in The Interventional Cardiac Catheterization Handbook (Morton Kern 4e) is widely read across the world.
