Automation • A key member in the RRTOM (Regulatory Reporting Target Operating Model) project where I have been working with automating key returns done in our team• Provide necessary SME knowledge for automating key returns done in our areaRegulatory Reporting• Overseeing the Bank’s and assigned subsidiaries’ financial regulatory governance and compliance including accurate and timely filing of all financial reports with the Regulators (e.g, OSFI, Bank of Canada, Statistics Canada, CDIC amongst others), while ensuring reporting processes are efficient.• Lead in the implementation of new reporting requirements and manage the implementation of systems and procedural changes to ensure compliance with new regulatory requirements• Liaising with regulators directly or via CBA (Canadian Bankers Association) as and when requiredInvestment Reporting• Overseeing securities reporting of the Bank’s and assigned subsidiaries’ investment and trading portfolios including the analysis of the unrealized gains and losses for executive and internal management reportingAccounting Initiatives• Participate, as required, in accounting initiatives impacting financial regulatory filings and securities reporting. E.g. Implementation of IFRS9 in Q4 2018 & Q1 2019 as it pertains to securities
