ABOUT ANNY MORISSETTE
I am a seasoned anthropologist committed to the renewal of relationships between Canadians and Indigenous Peoples. I am a specialist in Canadian Indigenous Studies with 21 years of field experience, research, coordination & project management with Indigenous communities and organizations; 11 years of post-secondary teaching experience; 5 years of management and leadership experience in a university setting building Indigenization, Decolonization, Reconciliation, and partnerships with First Peoples. My areas of research, publication and teaching focus on Indigenous leadership, Indigenous political cultures, religious pluralism, Indian Day schools as well as the empowerment of First Nations women.
