Plans/organizes activities geared to the needs and abilities of the residents and oversees the work and activities of the Community Life Department in order to achieve established goals toward health care, housing, and rehabilitative services for older adults and increasing resident quality of life- Ensures that Residents’ needs are met by proactively responding to care and service requests- Ensure that Community Life team has the tools, resources, and training to provide the highest quality service in the most efficient and financially responsible way- Create printed materials (calendar, event flyers, etc.) and oversee various social media platforms to increase awareness of Phoebe Richland Healthcare services- Communicates with the Executive Director, Administrator other department directors/managers, and appropriate staff personnel in order to integrate goals and activities; attends and actively participates in various committee meeting- Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the department as well as with other departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information- Provides periodic reports to the Administrator and other groups as required throughout the facility, i.e, prepares and submits quality assurance and/or statistical reports, etc- Develops and annually updates departmental policies and procedures and reviews same with employees.
