The mission is to make art from the disability community more accessible by featuring it on apparel and home goods and selling it through an e-commerce platform to reach a national audience. People Love Art also exists to provide an additional means of income for the disability community. Artists earn 50% of all profits from sales of their merchandise.(People with disabilities live in poverty at more than twice the rate of people without disabilities. Only 32% of working-age people with disabilities are employed compared with 73% of those without disabilities.)
