ABOUT ANNIKA UNGE

For me in the role as a patent attorney, the most imporant thing is to assist my clients in creating IP that supports and helps them to reach their business goals and I often work in close collaboration with business management and inventors to advise on research and IP strategy matter. I have more than 20 years\' experience of patent issues in the fields of, in particular, medicine, biotechnology, biochemistry, medtech, chemistry and microbiology. In addition to drafting and prosecuting patent applications, I have extensive experience from working with business-related IP issues, such as patent strategies, questions regarding validity, infringement, due diligence, freedom-to-operate and IP-related business development. I work with all kinds of clients, from small and mid-sized companies, including start-ups, to large multi-national companies, in Sweden and abroad. In addition to being a patent attorney, I have for many years had roles as business unit manager and group leader.
