Annie Wharton Art Consulting acts as contemporary art advisors to civic, corporate, private, and real estate development clients. Wharton\'s work has been featured in publications that include the New York Times, Art in America, The Art Newspaper, Art Papers, ArtNews, Art.Es (Spain) Ha\'aretz (Israel), Giornale dell\'Arte (Italy), Glamour, and German Elle. In addition to a wide array of spaces throughout the Americas, Israel, Japan and Europe, she\'s shown or organized shows and performances at prestigious museums such as The Broad, LA; the Museum of Contemporary Art, LA; the Museum of Contemporary Art in Washington, DC, the Ringling Museum of Sarasota; the Kirishima Open Air Museum in Kirishima, Japan; and in Miami at the Lowe Museum the Bass Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, and The Wolfsonian-FIU Museum. Wharton has placed artists’ works in the permanent collections of Los Angeles County Museum of Art, Hammer Museum, and MOCA in Los Angeles; The Whitney Museum of American Art in New York; Fundación/Colleción Jumex in Mexico City; 21 C. Museum in Louisville; Sarasota Art Museum; and Musée d’Art Moderne et Contemporain in Nice (FR). As well as an impressive list of private art collectors, a small selection of the corporate art clients who have purchased works from Annie Wharton Art Consulting includes Broadway Elite, Central City Development Group, Creative Artist Agency, Fox Rothschild LLP, Hirsch-Bedner Associates, KNA Design, Kelly Wearstler Interiors, Kneedler-Fauchere, Millennium Partners, Sagamore Art Hotel, Shanghai Construction Group, and Surfcomber Hotel. Wharton also served as project manager for a permanent public art installations in the technologically-advanced San Jose Airport (SJO) and a newly completed public school called The School of Creativity and Innovation in Brooklyn, NY. She is currently curating a project in collaboration with Los Angeles Department of Arts and Culture, bringing artworks to 17 sites within 3 new construction buildings at the High Desert Mental Health Campus in Lancaster, CA.
