About Annie R. Lehew

Annie LeHew is a philanthropic and public health leader, mobilizing collective impact at the intersection of healthy communities and thriving nature. With over 15 years of experience in nonprofit and healthcare administration—specializing in equitable community health, social impact, and philanthropic development—she brings a unique perspective to the conservation space.Driven by a passion for connecting people and nature through storytelling and shared purpose, Annie has engaged with diverse communities and stakeholders throughout her career. She fosters inclusive and community-led solutions—an experience she enjoys sharing with others.Annie holds a B.A. in Psychology from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon, and dual master’s degrees in Social Work and Public Health from the University of Oklahoma. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), a Leadership Tulsa alum, and a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. She is currently pursuing her CFRE certification.Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional work. Annie has served on the boards of Pathways to Health and the Parent-Child Center of Tulsa, and volunteers with the Turkey Mountain Trail Team, Turks and Caicos Reef Fund, and Beagle Freedom Project. She recently assisted the University of Miami with shark tagging and conservation research aboard the Field School’s RV Garvin.Annie’s adventurous spirit shines through her love of scuba diving, freediving, and exploring the world’s remaining wild places. She is dedicated to protecting the places and communities she loves.
