ABOUT ANNIE LAURENSON

Ms. Laurenson is a highly accomplished governance professional with over two decades of experience in business administration, boasting a remarkable track record of 15 years dedicated to public companies within the dynamic mining industry. Her educational background includes a Master of Laws degree in business law from Osgoode Hall Law School, complemented by professional designations, including the Governance Professionals of Canada Designation (GPC.D) and Corporate Directors International Designation (CDI.D).Ms. Laurenson currently serves as the Director, Governance & Corporate Secretary of Lundin Mining Corporation. Prior to joining Lundin, Ms. Laurenson held pivotal positions such as the Assistant Corporate Secretary of Bank of Montreal and the Corporate Secretary of Chieftain Metals Corp. Throughout her career, she has continually advanced in senior administrative roles within various TSX and TSXV listed mining companies. Ms. Laurenson\'s versatile skill set encompasses comprehensive governance responsibilities within publicly listed companies. Her expertise spans across legal and regulatory compliance, corporate governance, board and committee affairs, continuous disclosure obligations, corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, shareholder communications, and corporate records management.Ms. Laurenson is an accomplished leader and has also taken on a significant leadership role as the Chair of Lundin\'s Corporate Diversity, Inclusion, Anti-Racism & Discrimination Committee (DIARD). This committee was established to fervently champion the company\'s diversity and inclusion agenda, offering strategic recommendations to address institutional and systemic inequalities and biases. In this capacity, she has been instrumental in promoting meaningful dialogues and resources to facilitate important conversations, recommending concrete actions to support the committee\'s overarching mandate.In recognition of her outstanding contributions in fostering diversity and amplifying women\'s voices at the executive level and within corporate boardrooms, especially for BIPOC women, Ms. Laurenson was recognized as one of CIBWE\'s \"100 Black Women to Watch\" in Canada for the year 2023.Ms. Laurenson is an active member and serves on the Board of the Governance Professionals of Canada and actively contributes to the organization\'s mission. Additionally, she is an engaged member of Femina Collective, further demonstrating her commitment to advancing professional excellence and diversity within her field and amplifying women’s voices in the resource sector.
