Growing up, playing soccer has always brought me so much joy. Beyond just being a fun game to play, it was great exercise, a competitive outlet and brought me some of my best memories with friends growing up. This is what drove me to walk-on to the team my freshman year. As a D1 athlete, I developed discipline, time-management skills, and resilience in order to balance engineering clubs, jobs, and rigorous course load throughout college. Despite keeping me really busy, I am grateful for all the travel trips, fun memories at practices, and the skills I learned from being a part of the program.
