ABOUT ANNIE C. H.

I am a lawyer based in Toronto and Kitchener-Waterloo, and I also work as a content creator and digital marketing/branding consultant. My path to law started in an unexpected place: I grew up playing piano and violin, with dreams of becoming a performer. Over time, seeing the social challenges around me inspired me to pivot to law - where I could make a broader impact while carrying the creativity and resilience music taught me.In 2023, I was honoured to receive both the Dean’s Gold Key Award from Osgoode Hall Law School and the FACL Omatsu Scholarship for leadership, advocacy, and commitment to promoting social justice.I currently serve on the Board of 2 Not-for-Profit Organizations: • Secretary, Communications & Marketing Committee Chair, FACL Ontario • Director, Marketing Committee Chair, Orchestra TorontoAs a first-generation lawyer, I am committed to bridging the gap between law and the lived experiences of minority communities, while continuing to explore innovative intersections between law, music, and media.Outside of law, I enjoy learning new languages (currently Korean & Hindi), exploring cafés, and creating content.Always open to connecting with individuals and organizations who share an interest in justice, advocacy, and creativity.
