About Annie Sholty

I am Annie Sholty, the Director of Transitional Housing and Program Quality at Coburn Place Safe Haven. I strive to provide safety, security, referral services, sustainable housing, empowerment, and educational activities for the domestic violence survivors I work with, while developing the team of Transitional Housing and front desk triage staff I directly support. It is my goal to use this time to further my career and hone my skills in staff learning and development, instructional design, and organizational leadership. » My current interests include advocacy, housing equity, strengthening at-risk families, team development, peer-to-peer mentoring, curriculum development, and research in Hope Theory. » Academically, I am a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington completing two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Criminal Justice and a minor in Counseling Psychology, but I believe myself to be a lifelong student and learner.
