About Annie Miller
I have the privilege to serve communities and schools in South Eastern Indiana by partnering with educators to teach children and families about cardiovascular health and heart healthy habits. Today’s children are the first generation predicted to have a shorter lifespans then their parents and grandparents due to sedentary lifestyle styles, high blood pressure, and childhood obesity.The American heart Association works to encourage and reward heart healthy activities and lifestyle choices through programs like Jump Rope for Heart, Hoops for Heart and Red Out. With the support of community members, educators, school boards, and superintendent we have an opportunity to impact this next generation and ensure that they can live longer and healthier lives just as we have.I look forward to building new partnerships that will impact and improve cardiovascular health in Indiana.
