ABOUT ANNIE KATSURA ROLLINS
Hello! I am a community builder, artist, and educator, based in Toronto. My specialities are strategic arts programming, community-based arts and facilitation, and developing invested and committed teams. I am proud to serve as the Executive Director at Lakeshore Arts, one of Toronto\'s six Local Arts Serving Organizations (LASO). I am an adjunct faculty member in the University of Connecticut\'s singular Puppet Arts program. In 2018, I cofounded an experimental puppetry and performing object collective in Toronto, Concrete Cabaret, and we are currently in our seventh year. I am also a researcher, practitioner, and Fulbright Scholar of Chinese shadow puppetry, studying as a traditional apprentice since 2008. In 2019, I was proud to be named valedictorian for my PhD dissertation at Concordia University\'s (Montreal) Interdisciplinary Humanities program, which focused on heritage transmission of traditional vernacular performance forms.
