ABOUT ANNIE GLICKMAN

Utilizing collaborative and strategic skills in the nonprofit sector, I aspire to lead with integrity. During my tenure as Campaign Director for The Jewish Federation of Greater Kansas City in 2023, I managed the communication of our total financial resource development team of professionals and lay leadership. Our coordinated efforts raised over $10 Million dollars, the largest on record in our 90 year history. This includes our Annual Campaign ($5.1 million) and our Israel Emergency Campaign ($3.6 million) launched soon after October 7th. I began my professional path in the field of Jewish philanthropy in 2020 after twenty years of dedication to the field of Jewish education as a teacher, facilitator and serving in consulting roles with directors and faculty. As Director of School Services for the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning, a Project of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, I organized and led content-rich international conferences, created dynamic and interactive professional development webinars, and provided mentorship opportunities for directors of Melton schools spanning North America, South Africa, England, and Israel.I am passionate about creating a vibrant Jewish future. In 2009, I co-founded the Priya Fund in Dallas, Texas which later became Priya: Growing Jewish Families at Jewish Family Services, financially and emotionally supporting Jewish individuals and couples with infertility challenges. In 2013, I received the prestigious Seeds of Innovation Grant from The Jewish Theological Seminary to launch a second location for Priya now housed at The Jewish Family Services of Greater Kansas City through a dedicated fund at The Jewish Community Foundation. Dozens of children from families that have received Priya’s support have been brought into these two Jewish communities.
