As the Lead AM Strategy Engineer my role involves identifying potential application areas (for both metal and polymer components) for the technology in the company, assisting colleagues in highlighting these applications and then aiding them in completing the manufacturing process, assessing and identifying the machines and technologies that should be purchased and implemented into the company along with the relevant materials, software and periphery hardware. This requires a strong understanding of the current AM market in both the UK and globally, and developing the AM landscape within the company.
