About Annie Bodmer-Roy

Originally from Montreal, Canada, Annie Bodmer-Roy has worked for children’s rights for close to 20 years across West Africa, East Asia, Latin America, the Middle East, Europe and North America, responding to conflict, disaster, displacement and malnutrition crises, and spearheading global advocacy efforts to protect and defend children\'s rights to survival, protection, education, and equality. Through evolving roles in policy, programs, advocacy, campaigns, government relations, media and communications, Annie has built teams, led research, secured funds, designed campaigns and run coalitions to shine a light on the most pressing issues facing children, and successfully pitch principled and pragmatic solutions to address their needs and fulfil their rights. Annie holds a BA in International Development from McGill University and an LLM in Human Rights Law from the University of London’s School of Oriental and African Studies.
