As part of Human Resources, The Workforce Development Team is responsible for designing, developing, marketing and implementing organizational programs to address Fairview\'s workforce/talent needs. My specific focus areas have included Medical Assistants, Information Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technician and Echocardiographer roles, among others. I managed a multi-year grant for our Apprenticeship programs, I led recruiting for our IT Internship program for many years, and I continue to lead recruitment for our MA Learner program and Administrative Fellowship position. I have also secured managed multiple rounds of Dual Training Grant funding awarded by the State of Minnesota that has provided new skills and career growth to IT employees and has helped grow our Imagining, Respiratory Therapy and Emergency Services/Paramedic workforce. As a part of the Workforce Development Team, I also participate in career fairs and other hiring events.
