ABOUT ANNETTE KIM
Hello! I’m Annette, a multimedia artist and an aspiring creative technologist with a focus in communication and interactive experiences. I love the weird and the abstract! I create whimsical worlds that feel like floating in a dream whether through illustration or a VR experience. My work is playful and often intersects my media research involving digital visual culture and identity. I shine when communicating between designers and engineers and supporting each team with my technical skills as needed. I am happy knowing my work is improving not only the user experience but the human experience as well! On the side, I design a variety of playful products including handmade toys and ceramic houseware with the intent of sharing enjoyment of the adorable with others. I also work with a small group to develop indie video games as the lead artist while simultaneously supporting the development team when needed. I pour passion into all my work—including the memes—and hope others will find them just as enjoyable as I do.
