Whole school strategic leadership on all aspects of personal development• Ensure the curriculum provides learning opportunities and experiences to increase cultural capital. • Monitor enrichment and holistic development activities for students across the school. • Maximise student progress through the extended curriculum will require proactive and strategic leadership of key post holders. • Inspire a sense of responsibility and community in students, supporting the schools\' ethos, aspirations and values.• Line manage, lead and develop a team.• Responsible and accountable for curriculum design, intent, implementation and impact.• Lead and promote high quality teaching and learning, assessment and progress for students from Year 7 to Year 13.• Ensure strategies are in place to allow equal access of the curriculum by SEND and disadvantaged students. • Undertake rigorous quality assurance processes across the department, including data tracking, interventions, departmental reviews, lesson observations, work scrutiny, learning walks and student voice. • Appraise staff according to the school’s appraisal structure and monitor progress towards improvement objectives. • Oversee CPD needs and opportunities. • Manage a department budget and monitor correct expenditure of allocated funds. • Organise trips, clubs, guest speaker and other extended learning/enrichment opportunities• Evaluate the impact of my leadership on the quality of teaching and learning.
