SKILLS
ABOUT ANNETTE CLINNICK
With more than 20 years’ experience in strategic cultural development, change management and HR leadership, I work with organisations to develop culture and people strategies that resonate with their employees and encourage collaboration, development and high performance. I\'ve worked with senior leadership teams to drive strategic, operational and cultural change initiatives in regulators, government departments and NDPBs, higher education, and charities. I build high-performing teams through collaboration, dialogue, a focus on learning, development and continuous improvement, knowledge sharing - addressing issues constructively through coaching and providing clarity. I build engagement and understanding of people issues at the strategic level and capability to deliver at the operational level, always seeking to build a positive image of HR and people services and the quality and professionalism of HR service delivery. I provide mentoring and coaching to a number of professionals in varying stages of their careers, giving them space to think and reflect, develop their self-awareness and discover new ways of managing their work relationships and effectiveness at work. As a trained investigator I also carry out independent workplace investigations into complex or sensitive ER cases - disciplinaries, grievances and whistleblowing - at all organisational levels, with respect for the dignity of all parties. I work collaboratively, coaching others, sharing my knowledge and experience, and developing my own practice through experience, humility, and learning from every experience, whether good or bad. I build trust and engagement by managing expectations, tackling resistance constructively, reliability, pragmatism and being unafraid to challenge or suggest different ways of doing things. I have Masters degrees in Strategic Human Resources Management and in Consulting and Coaching for Change, as well as a CMI Level 7 certificate in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring, certificates in workplace mediation and conflict management and an Acas qualification in Managing a Fair Investigation. Through my studies I\'ve developed my leadership capability, knowledge of organisational and people dynamics, personal resilience and emotional intelligence and have developed a network of like-minded professionals across the globe. Languages - English (mother tongue) and French (fluent)
