Lothian Pension Fund administers the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) in Edinburgh and the Lothians. We\'re an asset-backed and multi-employer scheme with £10 billion of assets and the second largest LGPS fund in Scotland, serving members and 67 active employers. LPF is unique in Scotland in operating an FCA-regulated investment arm, with over 85% of assets managed in-house via internal equity and bond portfolios and infrastructure investment. During my time with LPF, I have built the Information Technology, Information Security and PMO functions from the ground up, including procuring, onboarding and migrating to a new managed IT provider. Some of my key achievements to date are:• Development and implementation of 3rd party cloud security assurance programme• Writing detailed specification for provision of a new managed IT service, • Procurement of new provider following public sector procedures• Seamless migration of all staff and infrastructure to new IT service, including secure data migration• Cyber Essentials + accreditation• Creation and implementation of an Information Security Management System (ISMS) to ISO 27001 standards• Leading achievement of >90% Microsoft Secure Score• Development and implementation of the fund\'s Cyber Security Strategy• Introduction of vulnerability testing, phishing exercising and table-top cyber security exercises• Implementation of Change and Programme Management Office procedures and protocols• Creation and exercising of the Fund\'s Disaster Recovery Plan & Business Continuity Programme • SharePoint architecture and governance design• Implementation of Insider Risk programme, Data Loss Prevention and CASB using Microsoft Purview• Leading move of IT and Audio Visual services to new, larger offices including implementation of visitor management system• Led transition to cloud-only environment• Developed and launched AI Adoption & Governance Framework, embedding risk controls for AI tools
