I am passionate about building great structures with great teams. I believe that every team member has a role in the success of the project. Diversity within teams leads to innovation. This is why I dedicated my master\'s research to the factors that influence the recruitment and retention of women in the construction industry which was published in the Journal of Professional Issues in Engineering Education and am a construction estimator with 11 years of experience in the Central Florida area, and have had the opportunity to work on some of the most magical projects with highly creative and passionate teams.Master of Science in Construction Management - University of Florida M.E.    Project controls team member on multi-million dollar projects working closely with operations, retail, food and beverage, creative, software, and design partners. Prepare and manage estimates utilizing historical cost data and design documents of various building systems including new resorts, new commercial, landscape facilities, commercial renovations, and interactive attractions. Perform takeoffs of the project scope of work utilizing contract drawings, renderings, schematic diagrams, and scope narratives. Responsible for maintaining working documents throughout the estimating process and project lifecycle, including scope buyout, risk management, cost control, and value engineering opportunities. Communicate with design and construction partners to track actual cost versus budget throughout design and construction phases to develop estimated final cost trends. Managing consultants and associates in support of the project\'s goals.
