About Anne Distassio
As a marketing executive, I enhance brand awareness and increase consumer engagement for CPG and OTC brands. I have transformed and enhanced messaging for heavy hitters such as Sunoco, Duracell, Kraft Foods, M&M\'s, Pedigree, and Philips through customer presentations and shopper marketing experiences that engage consumers and drive sales. I have also had the pleasure of increasing demand for struggling \"dark\" brands such as Blue-Emu, and I\'ve brought products to the U.S. market that have thrived such as BIOTA Botanicals. My strengths lie in creative ideation, concepting, presentation writing, and setting the foundation for profitable partnerships. Brainstorms with a cohesive marketing team are critical to a brand\'s launch and it\'s ensuing success. The brand messaging must engage the consumer through focused, targeted language, visual, and placement. Working at Circle One Marketing in its start-up days, my presentations helped win big clients such as Campbell and Pfizer which ultimately led to the agency being sold to MATCH Marketing Group. Early on, my work at a start-up marketing agency required me to wear many different hats. There I built my leadership skills, honed my presentation skills, built strategies and wrote presentations that won new business. At Innovative Display & Design, I worked collaboratively with the creative team to transform the department from a mere design team to an impactful and engaging team of creative thinkers, collaborative conceivers, and top-notch presenters. Working at NAIL Marketing was particularly interesting. It was a boutique agency that was often hired out and consulted with investors interested in new brands, or \"dark\" struggling brands. My colleagues came with many more years of experience in all aspects of business development. As the marketing expert, I worked to determine the potential profitability of struggling brands and developed plans to bring them back to life.
