She served as communications director and chief spokesperson for Congressman Robert Aderholt during his tenure as chairman of the House Appropriations Homeland Security and Agriculture Subcommittees. During her tenure in government, Malecha also served in the congressional offices of representatives Erik Paulsen and Jim Ramstad from Minnesota and Judge Ted Poe from Texas.Malecha is a graduate of the University of Minnesota and resides in Washington, DC, with her rescue dogs, Layla and Lennox. Currently, Malecha serves on the Board of Visitors of La Follette High School and the Madison Public Schools Foundation in Madison, Wisconsin. Still a Midwesterner at heart, she has a fervent love for lake life, ice fishing, cheese curds, and, of course, the Green Bay Packers.
