About Annemarie Callahan
I began my career in media and analyst relations. I did internal and external communications for a medium-sized tech company and then joined Waggener Edstrom (now WE Communications) where eventually Microsoft became my client. I led analyst relations for SharePoint and eventually Office 365 for about 5 years.In 2007 I joined Microsoft to do analyst relations in house. I like to say I\'ve been lucky enough to have at least three careers (so far!) all at the same company. After about 5 more years in AR, I switched disciplines and gained experience in business management (strategic planning, org-level budget management, internal communications). In 2015, I joined the Marketing and Consumer Business (MCB) Community Team. Our team\'s mission was to activate the Microsoft culture attributes through internal communications and events, and professional development for an organization of 5500+ marketers and sellers. Today, I work in the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer where I lead a program for early in career folks into Marketing that provides learning, community and networking while in the 2-yr rotation program. I also lead the Marketing organization employee resource groups - providing planning, strategic direction and budget governance. I\'m a professionally trained career coach and I received my ICF certification in 2018. I\'m very passionate about the many benefits of coaching! It\'s been incredibly rewarding to be a part of the Microsoft Culture transformation, and to work every day toward creating the kind of place where everyone can do their best work.
