My long-term career goal is to create a spinal disc replacement device that is Functional & Forever.I am an engineer who has experience in medical device design and manufacturing, tool design, gene therapy process development, and biomaterials & tissue engineering. I am passionate about designing devices and tools that fit their function precisely and integrate seamlessly into the process. Let\'s create something that heals our people and our planet!#BuildToHealI graduated from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, focused on Biomaterials and Tissue Engineering. I also received a minor in Computer Science, concentrated in Database Creation and Management. I have developed skills in gene therapy process engineering in academia at UMass Medical Center as well as biotechnology companies. I worked as a Design & Manufacturing Engineer at Paragon Medical, creating product designs and manufacturing solutions for a variety of medical devices and drug + device combination products. I was responsible for creating product designs based on client needs, assembly tooling design and improvements, and providing support for equipment, production, documentation, and site improvement. Currently, I work at Just Cooperative Co, where startup companies can turn for expert technical and business strategy help. We craft custom teams of expert consultants to ensure your projects advance towards success. We help you get the right products to the right markets!I am also a sound therapy practitioner. I use quartz sound bowls, reiki, and teach various meditation techniques to provide a therapeutic experience for those who attend sessions. I place a high value on collaboration, communication, and accountability. I enjoy conceptualizing products and bringing dreams to life with innovative, tailored, and robust designs.In addition to engineering and gene therapy work, I am a multidisciplinary artist and a licensed nail technician. I provide professional manicure services, empowering art, and enriching nail products. My drive to learn and compete has also extended into playing competitive sports. I have played flag football for 4 years, captained for two teams, won one championship, and competed in three travel tournaments.
