ABOUT ANNEELISE GOETZ

I am a lawyer and community volunteer, actively supporting causes that serve children in need. When I am not practicing law or volunteering, I enjoy serving as an emcee for charity events, interviewing authors and business leaders and serving as an on-camera legal expert for national news programs. For two decades, I\'ve practiced law and worked with a wide range of clients on complex business deals and transactions related to health care law and real estate law. I serve as outside general counsel to medical groups throughout San Diego and represent multiple large foundational model groups. I regularly work with physicians in transactions ranging from mergers and acquisitions to the structuring of Management Service Organizations. My healthcare practice also involves negotiating physician/hospital transactions and advising on governance and regulatory issues. On the real estate side of my practice, I work on commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. In addition, I advise borrowers on real estate financing transactions. As a result of my work in borrower financing, I have been admitted as a Fellow to the American College of Mortgage Attorneys.I strongly believe in the importance of giving back to our communities. I am a longtime advocate for children in the foster care system and have served as the Chair of the Board of Directors for a nonprofit serving San Diego and Riverside children. I am also an active volunteer at Sunset View Elementary and have been Room Mom for the past 4 years. Whether it’s kids I’ve never met, or my own children’s classmates, I focus my volunteer working on lifting up the next generation.
