ABOUT ANNE M. DANGELO

I am a strategic global leader, international educator and certified executive and leadership coach with a career that spans private and public sectors. My work centers on building meaningful partnerships, developing people, and creating programs that strengthen global collaboration and expand access to opportunity.At the University of Minnesota, I’ve served as the inaugural Assistant Dean and Senior International Officer for the Carlson School of Management and a graduate faculty member in the College of Education and Human Development. I’ve led global strategy and international education requirement efforts, expanded transnational partnerships, launched executive programs, and worked closely with faculty, staff, students, and professionals from around the world. I love connecting vision to action and bringing diverse stakeholders together to create initiatives that matter.As a coach, I support individuals and teams navigating transition, stepping into leadership, or seeking clarity in times of change. I listen deeply, ask questions that spark insight, and create spaces where people feel supported to explore, experiment, and grow.My work and life have taken me around the world—from living and working in Japan and the Republic of Georgia to collaborating with partners across China, India, Europe, Latin America and Africa. I believe in the power of cross-cultural collaboration to drive innovation and social impact. I have an M.A. and Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development with an emphasis in comparative and international development and education. I am a certified coach through the Hudson Institute of Coaching and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation. I hold certifications in Cultural Intelligence (CQ) and the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI).
