About Anne Brady Perron

As a leader at Temasek, a global investment firm, I track and translate global policy developments and provide guidance around industry, economic, social and political developments relevant to our investment activities both domestically in the US and globally. I help to both make and save the firm money by mitigating geopolitical risk. I have more than 20 years of experience in government affairs, communications, and strategic advisory, spanning various sectors and regions- especially with a lot of regional focus in the GCC. In my current role, no day is the same and I help manage the extreme risks that geopolitical uncertainty brings and help mitigate that risk for both the firm and our portfolio companies. I am a thought partner within the firm and a trusted advisor to Temasek portfolio companies, leveraging my Harvard Business School education, my network accross governments around the world and my proven ability to lead diverse teams and build coalitions. I serve on several boards and enjoy sharing my insights and expertise on complex policy issues and global trends that effect investors.I have extensive public speaking experience and in my personal time am passionate about conservation efforts and spending time in the great outdoors (hiking, skiing, fishing.you name it!) with my husband and two children (my best accomplishment).

   Our office reports directly to the CEO. My role is to track and then translate global policy developments and provide guidance on our investments around industry, economic, social and political developments relevant to our investment activities both domestically in the US and globally. In addition, as a foreign investor I help manage the CFIUS process and spend a great deal of time on US China relations. Geopolitical uncertainty is one of the biggest issue areas we face, and I help mitigate that risk for both the firm and our portfolio companies.One of my mandates is building out and co-leading our Middle East development for Temasek. I am a thought partner within the firm helping to communicate both internally and externally on geopolitical risk + government affairs and my expertise spams more than 20+ years in government affairs, communications, investor relations and crisis.I also host a monthly Speakers Series for the entire Temasek firm to be updated on Geopolitical and Policy topics pertaining to pertinent issues from around the world-Temasek is a global investment company headquartered in Singapore. Founded in 1974 with 13 offices globally and have S$403 Billion under management.
