ABOUT ANNE WONG
At the end of the day, it\'s all about people. I strive to find ways for people to connect to each other and resources that will help them become the best they can be. I am a team player with both leadership and administrative support experience roles in human resources, executive management support, community outreach, and student leadership. Here\'s what I bring to the table: INNOVATIVE THINKING In high school, I led the first book sale of used test prep (SAT/ACT, AP) books, launched the first initiative to honor and appreciate our cafeteria and janitorial staff, and founded the first advisory and activity-planning board for our band and orchestra. As a side project during my internship at First Republic Bank, I leveraged the rich knowledge of the professionals around us to plan a financial wellness workshop for our intern class. Financial wellbeing is not commonly taught in school and I knew we had the experts-we just needed an event and platform to share that knowledge. I continue to look for innovative ways to improve processes such as re-inventing our Leave of Absence documentation process through One Note. EXPERIENCE IN BALANCING MULTIPLE ROLES At First Republic, I was part of two incredible teams at the same time—serving both our board of directors as well as our internal employees. I helped coordinate board meetings and company-wide calls, organized board documents, and arranged travel plans for our directors while simultaneously supporting our employee benefits program through fielding benefits questions, analyzing and building utilization and audit reports, and meeting with vendors to maintain and improve our suite of over 40 benefits. A LOVE FOR EVENT PLANNING Between planning 8-hour board meetings, school proms, benefits open enrollment events, and team off-sites, event coordination has consistently been part of my career. I love turning ideas into reality-especially ideas about bringing people together. Outside of work, you can find me planning themed get-togethers and Amazing Race style events for my friends.
