ABOUT ANNE THERESE GENNARI

As the founder of The Climate Optimist, as well as a speaker, author, consultant, and facilitator, I believe in reframing the climate story so that it’s not about paralysis or despair, but about possibility, agency, and joy. My work supports individuals, teams, and organizations in moving from overwhelm to clarity, purpose, and meaningful action. More than anything, I focus on the inner leadership that can unlock radically different tomorrows.Over the past decade, I’ve built experience across several domains: environmental communications, emotional resilience, narrative change, and culture building. I have co-founded the world’s first ethical modeling agency (Role Models Mgmt), guiding 200+ talents in their impact-driven brands and positioning, taught a course on climate optimism and branding at CUNY, and crafted workshops, media, and storytelling tools that inspire people to see what’s possible when we lean into purpose and shared values.In my consulting practice, my focus lies at the intersection of impact, communication, and psychology, helping companies turn sustainability from a checkmark into a unifying vision. I work with mission-driven organizations that aim to be perceived as climate-forward and are committed to integrating sustainability into both their messaging and operations.
