I am the editorial director of Mission Point Press and an award-winning freelance writer, editor and researcher. After receiving a Master of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Michigan, I worked as an investigative reporter for daily and weekly news organizations, writing award-winning stories of human drama and resilience. As a freelancer, I have written articles, overseen publication projects and served as a researcher/editor for a #1 New York Times bestseller. For the last five years, I served as its executive editor of the National Writers Series, a nonprofit I co-founded in 2010.
