Works closely with the Director of Advancement to develop the Foundation’s annual plan to attract, retain and renew members to the Arboretum Foundation.• Develops coordinated communication and solicitation strategies to grow a robust annual giving program involving renewals via email, social media, direct mail, and other opportunities.• Supports the Japanese Garden Program Manager and the fundraising for the Seattle Japanese Garden including oversight and expansion of the Camellia Circle donor level.• Manages a portfolio of annual donors and assists with major donor cultivation when appropriate.• In collaboration with others on the Advancement Team, oversees the planning and execution of events and programs designed to cultivate and steward relationships with members. • Develops and maintains overall membership structure and ensures that benefits are current and delivered to membership.• Consults with and direct Advancement Data Associate to prepare data sets and mailing lists for all development and event correspondence• Oversees and maintains gift acknowledgment materials including letters, phone calls, and distribution of benefits.• Develops, in collaboration with team members, marketing materials and donor recognition lists.• Supports, and assists when necessary, gift entry in Raiser’s Edge NXT • Collaborates with the Advancement Data Associate, to prepare monthly reports and dashboards from Raiser’s Edge reflecting the progress and status of membership, gift activities, and events• Develops and implements strategies for identifying potential prospects, creating upgrade campaigns between donor levels, and growing the existing donor base.• Serves as staff liaison to the Board of Directors\' Governance Committee.• Serves on Equity & Justice Committee, a joint committee of Arboretum Foundation and University of Washington Botanic Gardens staff.
