About Anne Pfitzer

Leader in global health, known for managing multi-million dollar grants and enhancing family planning access across 16 countries, driving impactful health initiatives.I bring technical and managerial depth and breadth in family planning and sexual and reproductive health (FP/SRH), coupled with substantive maternal and newborn health (MNH) and HIV/AIDS program and implementation research experience spanning 20 African, Caribbean and Asian countries. I connect people and combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, and operational and managerial skills to my work. I have led the design of multi-million dollar proposals as well as small grants. I am passionate about technical and capacity development to local partners around the world to implement FP and youth high impact practices (HIPs) or guidance to country programs to expand method choice and postpartum family planning (PPFP). I have experience in effective policy dialogue and national planning, gathering and presenting evidence to inform and make policy more responsive to patient and health system needs. I served as Principal Investigator (PI) on key FP/SRH implementation research studies. My work style is inclusive and collaborative.
