Transformed small soup kitchen into major hunger relief and prevention organization. Created innovative programs and service delivery models to connect with difficult-to-reach populations. Current programs include: choice pantry; food truck; neighborhood mobile markets; school and pre-k partnerships; after school programs; college pantry; summer food outreach; soup kitchen; and program partnerships with over 60 local community organizations.Oversaw significant growth from meals provided in 2010 to over 2 million meals in 2024. Grew revenues to support this growth, including $1.2 million capital campaign to expand our facilities in 2022/2023. Collaborated with funders to replicate new programs in other partner organizations. Significantly expanded and diversified donor base and grew volunteer engagement to over actively engaged volunteers.Refocused core programs to amplify the benefits of connecting food insecure individuals and families with stabilizing resources – medical care, dental, one-on-one mental health therapy, gentle exercise programs, preventive case management and enrollment in safety net programs.Instituted special program focus on hard-to-reach populations and undocumented families and senior citizens. Created culture of ongoing program evaluation and improvement.Raised profile of Toni’s Kitchen to be a household name in the community.Opened new retail thrift shop to support clothing needs of low-income families and provide regular income stream to support food programs.
