In this position, I develop communications materials: key messages; internal communications plans; news releases; backgrounders; advisories; external communications plans; social media; communications approaches; and promotions.I also provide communications advice to senior and mid-management; create and deliver ministerial announcements/news conferences, community funding announcements, regulatory announcements; and internal events. My duties also include editing; some stakeholder relations and community outreach. I provide public speaking coaching. Over the years, I have trained about 80 spokespeople and/or subject matter experts in media relations.
