I am currently the CFO at Lowell Observatory, a renowned astronomical research and education institution that pursues the study of the solar system and its evolution, and shares the results with the public. In my role, I oversee a $20M budget, manage audits, report on financial performance and impact, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. I also secure and administer multiple sources of funding, such as grants, loans, and endowments, to support the mission and vision of Lowell Observatory. Some of my notable achievements include obtaining and managing over $6M in federal relief funds during the pandemic, securing a $14M construction loan, and creating and executing a financial system for a $50M fundraising initiative for a capital campaign.
