ABOUT ANNE KAISER

I am inspired by the future and what could be. I energize others to create their visions of the future. I find deep satisfaction in working hard with friends to achieve a goal. A relationship only has value to me if it is genuine. The more we risk together, the more we prove that our relationship is genuine. I turn thoughts into action rather than simply talk about them. Analysis certainly adds value. Debate and discussion yield valuable insights, yet deep down, I believe taking action is the best way to both learn and make a difference.I make decisions, take actions, look at the results and learn. Learning informs my next action and my next. I believe that one cannot grow unless you put yourself out there and take the next step. It keeps my thinking fresh and informed. Most importantly, it’s the best way I know to maximize impact.I am fortunate to have had a broad set of experiences in sales & marketing, administration, operations and economic development. My last job at Georgia Power was the most fun job in the company - getting to work in the communities across our state to enable Georgia and its people to thrive. Working collaboratively with the state and local communities, the economic development group at Georgia Power has created over jobs and attracted over $53 billion in capital investment to Georgia. I understand how education, diversity, inclusion, equity and sustainability are good for business, enable the creation of high-quality jobs and meaningfully enhance communities both big and small, urban and rural. I have deep experience in both the public and private sectors. I served as the Chair of the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) Board, the State of Georgia Personnel Board and the REACH Foundation. Having served on numerous not-for-profit boards, I am especially passionate about my service on the Woodruff Arts Center Governing Board, the Alliance Theatre and a Trustee of Berry College and Agnes Scott College. On the corporate front, I learned great lessons serving on the board and on the Risk Committee of State Bank & Trust NASDAQ STBZ (now Cadence Bank NYSE: CADE). I look forward to serving on additional corporate boards. If you want to understand Georgia, the issues important to our state, our communities and how to have impact, I look forward to speaking with you! If you would like to apply best practices and learnings from Georgia - the #1 state to do business in the past eight years in a row - in your state or community, I would enjoy meeting you as well!
