WORK HISTORY
Training Specialist @FHI 360
Washington, DC, US
As training specialist, I coordinate administrative training activities across the English Access Microscholarship Program, a global program that promotes and supports English language acquisition for economically disadvantaged youth (https://exchanges.state.gov/non-us/program/english-access-microscholarship-program). I design and develop content for a global audience of administrative stakeholders, leading trainings for internal and external audiences. I interpret client-identified training needs for multiple stakeholder groups across the program into a suite of live training topics, asynchronous learning opportunities, and resource guides. Additionally, I manage the team\'s professional development strategy and schedule with our project director. I implement and encourage inclusive facilitation techniques and best practices through training of trainer sessions, in addition to providing resources and feedback to team facilitators. I also serve as a mentor for Access team members, including management, in developing DEI-focused professional development and performance goals.
